Moroccan Adventure
Marrakech is an intoxicating city, known for its souks, spices and rooftop sunsets. It is the gateway portal to the immortal Atlas Mountains and the vast Sahara beyond and famous for its vibrant colour and intoxicating culture, it is an ancient city that will tantalise all the senses.
Our 7 night yoga retreat from the 23rd-30th of March 2024, takes place outside the hustle and bustle of the busy city streets of the Medina, in a beautiful retreat centre with rambling garden’s and dreamlike buildings. Here we will practice asana on a rooftop overlooking the countryside & sit quietly in meditation inside a beautiful temple structure with a view to the stars.
Harvest tables, filled with local culinary delights and all the meals enjoyed at the Retreat Centre are included in the week-long package (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Adventure is very much part of your package;
We will take a trek through the countryside and visit a berber town at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, eating lunch delivered by the Moroccan style Uber eats - donkeys.
The cerise pink colour of sunrise will be seen from a hot air balloon ride and exploring the streets of Marrakech in search of fragrant spices for a cooking class that will delight the belly.
Though there are ample sights seeing trips included in your package, you may want to explore other area's and are most welcome to prebook these trips direct with hotel or facilitators once you have the weeks schedule. There will be more than enough time in the week to enjoy quiet moments too.
Relax in one of the many nooks and crannies of this vast establishment or splash in the pristine pools that are scattered throughout the warren of buildings of Tigmi, maybe even book a massage or traditional Hammam experience at the hotels wonderful spa.
In these mystic lands, magical moments happen in abundance. This is an adventure of pure heart.
